Who Is Eligible to be a Protégé?

Professional ACHCA Members.
Employed in a long-term care or aging services setting.
Students or Administrators-in-Training (AITs).
Willing to commit to at least one hour per month for mentoring relationship development.

Who Is Eligible to be a Mentor?

A Professional or Retired ACHCA Member who is an ACHCA Fellow.
Current Protégés may serve as mentors to students or AITs while active in the program.
Willing to commit to at least one hour per month for a successful mentoring relationship.

Program Application and Convention Financial Assistance Application

Applications are accepted year-round. Individuals interested in becoming a mentor or protégé can apply below:

Approved applicants will receive a portion of their Convention registration fee covered based on need and number of applicants. Funds will be distributed to support attendance at the 2026 Convention and Expo. Proteges that are given financial assistance are asked to write a short article about their experience.
